Dr. Larry Nichter has won a Best Paper Award for his research article IDEAL (SERENE) Structured Breast Implants: Core Study Results at 6 Years. The award was presented by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the official journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

According to the ASPS, their Best Paper Awards are selected based on usage and sharing data—such as “number of times sent by email and the number of times the article was added to a personal collection.” This recognition underscores that Dr. Nichter’s research was one of the most useful and widely shared publications in the journal.
