The Day of Your Procedure
A lip lift is performed under local anesthesia in Dr. Nichter's Newport Beach office. The procedure takes approximately thirty to forty-five minutes.

Immediately After
You can go home shortly after the procedure. There are no drains, no heavy bandaging, and no general anesthesia to recover from. The area around the lip will feel tight and swollen. Sutures are visible at the base of the nose. A friend or family member should drive you home.
